Lesson 15: Understanding Hypermedia

REFLECTION:
                           

                 Hypermedia is very useful to everyone who are willing to gain knowledge without using internet connection like for example the Encarta software in which we students can select our activities to go through. We can also access information based on the facts programmed in that software. But, as a future teacher, using hypermedia, we must see to it that we can introduce the software properly so that in the time of  giving or assigning the task, they will easily understand what to do.

Lesson 14: The Software as an Educational Resource

REFLECTION:
           

                 Using a computer without a software in teaching learning process will not possible. It is important for a teacher to be cautious in picking software to use since others contain virus or may be just be a scam. The software to be used in teaching learning process also suited fr the learning objectives, must be user-friendly and easy to use so that the students will easily gets what they are going to work. And, as a teacher, we must facilitate and guide during the hands-on activity. 

Lesson 13: Cooperative Learning with the Computer

REFLECTION:
         

                 With the use computers, cooperative learning  become better because students can work together to come out with a very good output. Students can brainstorm and express their ideas through computers. Working together in computer makes students interact with each other for advice and help. But in a group, each of the member should b responsible their task so that their goals will be achieve, like of what I've experienced, we shared a lot of ideas and came up to one and specific idea in which we achieve our goal as well as we understand the lesson, give and share our ideas to the members. And definitely, I can say that, working cooperatively will make the goal achieve in easy and faster way.

Lesson 12: Information Technology in Support of Student-Centered Learning

REFLECTION:

          Student-centered learning plus information technology makes the teaching and learning more productive. Information technology offers so many ways from which the teacher can make his/her lesson more updated in content and updated in methods. Learners can access to any information through the Internet. Student as a center in the classroom is a new way of faster transfer of knowledge and the teacher just facilitate of what the students wanted to imply. With the help of technology, it can be more productive  and yet the students can think critically and creatively.

Lesson 11: The Computer as the Teacher’s Tool

Reflection:

        Computer as a teacher's tool is very important in teaching learning process,because it's not just helping the teacher to make his or her lesson easier and faster but it can also help the students to become a constructivist in their own learning. Those four above are the functions of computer inside the classroom help us student to be more active and participate during the discussion in which we are not just construct our own knowledge but we can share it to the others(co-constructive) with the use of computer. Today's millennium, computers are very popular for both students and teachers in which we can access information through it, provide the avenue for creativity, and it has made communication easier. 

LESSON 5: State-of- the-Art ET Application Practices

REFLECTION:

             The proper use of technology as a medium of instruction is where the teacher and students must be acquainted. The teacher and students should work cooperatively inside the classroom for the better result. As future educator, we must prepare ourselves for the change that must take place in the teaching and learning condition especially in the Philippines which I can say that far behind of other developing countries.

LESSON 4: Basic Concepts on Intergating technology in Instruction

REFLECTION:

                  Technology is a powerful tool in teaching learning process, and as student we must know how to integrate the knowledge with the use of technology. That three levels gives me knowledge on using technology as a tool of instruction and those activity that our teacher gave, it opened my minds on how to use technology, what level they were belong and the learning objectives were suited of what our technology tools or applications used.

LESSON 3: Educational Technology in Asia Pacific Region

REFLECTION:
       

              That countries above had a goal and strategies that promotes technology as their medium instruction that they believed it can help their country produced a generation of globally competitive students. And government plays a vital role in the process of adopting technology in education. There should be a partnership between the government and the school in the sense that with all the seminars intended for the teacher in teaching technology and with all the infrastructure given by the government they can create a country that is globally competitive, but sad to say, it is lack in our country.

LESSON 2: An Overview of Educational Technology 2

REFLECTION:

               Educational Technology 2 viewed some objectives that we learner will be able to attain in the end of this course. I am excited to learn more and make a hands on activity on some applications in computer that can help me as a student in learning process, because as I remember, we are trained to be globally competitive one and it will help me a lot in learning this subject. I may not be the expert one but at least I tried my best to do so and the experience is there too.

LESSON 1 : A Review of Educational Technology 1

REFLECTION:
                        

                 Educational technology 1 had made us students explored more in computer applications that helped us in teaching learning process with the guide also with our teacher. It also enlightened my mind on how I used educational media and instructional material in teaching and utilized those things in a right way. And also it reminds me that no one can replace the teacher as the best instructional material and as a student, we must always remember that is it for us whether we continue those traditional materials or using some educational medium in teaching,  but what matter the most is that we can impart the knowledge correctly to the learners and we'll be able to know the learners that we have.
